Fair enough sizzlers but lethargic service !

So we were at the Yana’s once on occasion of a colleague’s farewell in a group of 15-20 people.
The service was nothing to write home about,it was Friday afternoon and the place was packed to its capacity by folks of nearby IT companies. However I don’t think that should have been a surprise as it must be the same case on every Friday so they were definitely understaffed.
Expectedly the order arrived at its own pace but since we were a large group we were a bit occupied discussing more important issues like how the government should run 😉 etc. However if I view it from a standard service point of view then it was surely a long wait of around 30 minutes or so but we didn’t mind that a lot.
Coming to the food, we ordered the following:
Yana Veg special sizzler – 4/5 as per the experience of other folks who were veggies.
Chicken Kebab Masaala sizzler – 3.5/5
Chicken Chilly Sizzler – 4/5
Coriander chicken sizzler – 3.5/5
Chicken crunchy starter – 4/5
Sizzling Brownie dessert – 5/5
Ambience wise it can be irritating for some people as they don’t have good ventilation. The smoke from sizzlers have no way to escape and it results in a rather smoky environment which is not very convenient.
I heard about terrible customer service from the other end of our table and I would agree that the customer service could have been far better.
In the end I would rate it as below:
Food 4/5
Ambience & comfort 3/5
Service 2/5
The prices are a little on the higher side compared to the fare offered but could be visited once in a while but they need to improve on their service part a lot.
