Good Party option in Kharadi !

Rating – 4/5

Living in Kharadi I have been all over the happening places in Pune but somehow just couldn’t make it to Spice Factory before. It is a covered rooftop place with a variety of sitting options including a brightly lit air-conditioned indoor option. They have a vast menu covering North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, Continental and Thai options. During my experience I thought of sticking to North Indian / Mughlai food and most of it was quite flavorsome and we had an enjoyable evening.

The Ambience – Two levels of seating offers ample space for a sizeable crowd, mosquitoes could be a slight issue with all the greenery and water fountains around. In case it is indeed an issue then the indoor seating is the way to go.

While sitting outside the overall light conditions could be a slight issue and especially for clicking snaps but nothing really to complain about. They have different events on all the evenings and Thursday was the bollywood night I guess, had a live singing program while we had our dinner which was re-routed through the various speakers installed throughout their premises.

The Food – Almost everything we tasted was good and there was no single item which I can say was not up-to the mark.

I would recommend all of the items that I ordered which were Murgh Dhania Shorba(135), Gosht Nalli Shorba(145) – quite rich and thick almost like a mutton gravy but nevertheless good, Murgh Sholay Tikka (290) – Medium spicy, Murgh Banjara Kebab (290) – medium to mild with egg foam, Murgh Baghdadi (290) – medium to mild and went well with their awesome Butter Naans.

The Service – The service was outstanding and I observed one Mr.Swapnil was consistently on his toes to direct the servers to take care of the customers as the numbers swelled towards the latter part of the evening. He recommended some great dishes as well and because of staff like Mr.Swapnil customers like me look forward to visit a restaurant over and over again.

Value for Money – It’s a thumbs up on this dimension as well, for a filling three course dinner with amazing service and good ambience you wouldn’t mind shelling 1000-1500 bucks though for this one we got 50% off due to a festival run by a Table booking App which further enhanced the feel good factor 🙂

It is “THE” place for a decent Dinner outing further enhanced by their live events and cool Ambience !
