A Decent experience !

Uber Eats has a lot of options and deals these days and while browsing through the ongoing deals last night for dessert cravings came across the deal for Frozen battle. It was a Buy 1 Get 1 deal for anything one orders from a limited Menu and seemed good when ordering from a place for the first time 🙂

The order came within 35 minutes of placement in a pretty good packing of sorts as shown above and both the items turned out to be shakes. I had ordered them thinking that at-least one of them would be a dessert – since the name had red velvet in it but both were supposedly thick shakes 😉

The order as it was delivered turned out to be two thick shakes – Red Velvet and Choco Oreo Kitkat. I had an instant liking for the Choco Oreo variant but a slight grudge instantly cropped up with the shake not having enough kit-kat chunks. When you’re pricing your shake at 170 bucks, that too for 500 ml then as a bare-minimum I would expect that it will have all the applicable elements in order.

The taste of the Oreo Kitkat shake was nice but had some aforementioned elements missing. The Red Velvet shake was strictly decent and wouldn’t be something I would be queuing up to order next time. I would definitely have been disappointed if I ordered these two shakes at their original pricing of Rs 170 each but since it was a Buy 1 Get 1 offer I can definitely live with it.

The Verdict – I have no issues with any outlet pricing their products the way they want to but in the end it should justify the goodies that are coming along and should be able to satiate their customers. I felt the value for money quotient in the products I ordered were missing to a certain extent if ordered for their original pricing and should be something the management should look to rectify, the taste otherwise was pretty decent !
